Trump Shares Mysterious Message for Women Voters on Truth Social

Donald Trump has posted a message to American women on social media and said they will no longer be “thinking about abortion” if he is re-elected in November. In a lengthy post, Trump said American women are less healthy and happy than they were four years ago, as well as poorer and lacking optimism. The Republican said he would “fix all of that” in a second term.

The former President took the opportunity to address his position on abortion and emphasized his support for exceptions to protect the life of the mother. He repeated his frequent assertion that the issue is in the hands of the states where it belongs. Mr. Trump also declared that he would “protect women at a level never seen before.”

Analysts say Mr. Trump is increasingly concerned about the high level of support Kamala Harris enjoys among women. According to several polls, women are the primary drivers behind Harris’s lead, and Trump has begun to pay attention and address women in interviews and rallies, believing he can win them over. Speaking to a Pennsylvania crowd on September 23, Trump said, “Women have always liked me, and I’ve never had a problem.”

Nevertheless, the gender gap is reportedly growing, and Harris leads Trump in most polls. An ABC/Ipsos survey in early September showed the Vice President with a 13% advantage over Donald Trump among women voters. More than half of women backed Harris at 54%, while just 41% supported Trump. Among men, 51% opted for Donald Trump, with 46% supporting the Vice President. Some analysts note an uptick in abortion rights activism at this election, while others point to the increasingly “macho” nature of Trump’s campaign, which may be putting some women off.

The former President’s attitude to women is frequently criticized, and his estranged niece, Mary Trump, took to social media to respond to his recent appeals. Addressing Trump’s promise to keep women safe, she wrote, “So says the rapist.”

Mary Trump, who is a clinical psychologist, has written and spoken at length about what she describes as her uncle’s narcissistic personality disorder. In her book, “Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man,” she described the former President as a liar and a sociopath.
