Trump Administration Takes Action Where Biden Failed

President Donald Trump’s Department of Justice has announced a major investigation into antisemitism at ten prominent universities. The initiative, led by the Federal Task Force to Combat Anti-Semitism, comes in response to the alarming surge in antisemitic incidents following the October 7, 2023 Hamas attack on Israel that left many Jewish students feeling threatened and marginalized.

Left-wing antisemitism will no longer go unchallenged, it seems.

The task force will conduct visits to elite institutions including Harvard, Columbia, USC, UCLA, and others that have been hotbeds of anti-Israel protests and where Jewish students have reported feeling unsafe. This action represents a stark contrast to the Biden administration’s approach, which critics say failed to adequately address growing antisemitism on American campuses.

Civil Rights Champion Leads Investigation

Leading the task force is Leo Terrell, Senior Counsel to the Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights and a well-known Fox News commentator who was appointed to this crucial position in February. Terrell has already informed university administrations about the investigation, specifically addressing potential failures to protect Jewish students and faculty from discrimination that may violate federal civil rights laws.

“The Task Force’s mandate is to bring the full force of the federal government to bear in our effort to eradicate Anti-Semitism, particularly in schools. These visits are just one of many steps this Administration is taking to deliver on that commitment,” Leo Terrell said.

The investigations will be thorough, with the task force planning meetings with university leadership, affected students and staff, local law enforcement, and community members. Their goal is to gather comprehensive information about the situation at each campus and determine appropriate remedial actions to ensure Jewish students and faculty are protected.

The task force was established following President Trump’s Executive Order on Additional Measures to Combat Anti-Semitism, underscoring the administration’s commitment to protecting religious freedom. The initiative aims to eradicate antisemitic harassment in educational institutions and ensure that Jewish students can pursue their education without fear of discrimination or intimidation.

“The President, Attorney General Pamela Bondi, and the entire Administration are committed to ensuring that no one should feel unsafe or unwelcome on campus because of their religion,” Terell also said in a recent statement.

The ten universities under investigation represent some of America’s most prestigious institutions: Columbia University, George Washington University, Harvard University, Johns Hopkins University, New York University, Northwestern University, UCLA, UC Berkeley, University of Minnesota, and USC. The DOJ has encouraged individuals who have experienced discrimination to file complaints with the Civil Rights Division to aid in the investigation.

Get ready. Anti-Semitic Democrats are going to lose their minds over this.
