Teen In Critical Condition After Stabbing Outside School

A 15-year-old boy was fatally stabbed outside of a school in Leeds shortly before 3 p.m. on Tuesday. Police and paramedics were summoned to the 300 block of Town Street in Horsforth on reports that a teenager had been severely assaulted there. The youngster was rushed to the emergency room in severe condition, and he was pronounced dead after failed life-saving efforts. A juvenile teenager has been apprehended and is in detention.

The former student of Horsforth School was fatally stabbed on St. Margaret’s Avenue, according to the school’s headmaster, Paul Bell, who announced to the BBC. While the student was in the hospital, he sent his thoughts and condolences to his family. A parent had informed the school of the student’s death, causing all, whether they knew the pupil or not, to become distressed and upset.

Jonathan Pryor, the Leeds city council deputy leader, said his heart was broken to hear of the tragedy. He noted that he realizes the significant impact and huge shock a sad tragedy of this type will have on the people locally. To provide aid and reassurance to the community, the local police force collaborates with other groups, such as local educational institutions. They have interviewed several potential eyewitnesses and are still interested in hearing from others who may have information.
