A royal announcement revealed that the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children are expected to move to an eight-bedroom property in Windsor Great Park later this year.

Royal Relocation Details

Kensington Palace has stated that later this year, the Prince and Princess of Wales, with their children — George, Charlotte, and Louis — will move into Forest Lodge in Windsor Great Park. The move marks a transition from their current primary residence, Adelaide Cottage, which the family occupied beginning August 2022.

Forest Lodge: Heritage and Setting

Forest Lodge is a Grade II–listed Georgian-era manor built in the early 19th century and expanded in the early 20th century, constructed of red brick and listed since March 1972. Its 2001 renovation preserved features including ornate plaster cornices, elaborate ceiling decoration, marble fireplaces, Venetian windows, and a half-barrel vaulted hallway ceiling. Strategically located near their children’s school — Lambrook School — it allows continuity in daily routines and family life.
