(PresidentialDaily.org)- McEnany, currently a co-host on Fox News’s “Outnumbered,” noted the Biden administration’s odd usage of the term “unprofessional” to characterize the shootdown on Wednesday. Two Russian aircraft intercepted and forced down an Air Force drone over the Black Sea.
U.S. European Command said in a press statement that one of the Russian planes had crashed into the drone.
The command said in a press statement that the Russian pilots “conducted an unsafe and unprofessional intercept” with the drone.
On Wednesday, John Kirby, a member of the National Security Council, used almost identical terminology in an interview with CNN.
McEnany also observed that Kirby talked of “environmental concerns.”
When the world is on the verge of war, and the Russians are shooting down American drones, “environmental concerns” appear completely irrelevant, McEnany quipped.
“But unprofessional is the word that stood out to me,” McEnany remarked.
Biden seems to have a very low standard for what constitutes “professional” conduct.
McEnany is also justified in her alarm at a government that deals with the usurping and greedy Taliban rule in Afghanistan with the term “professional,” as if the bleak condition of geopolitical relations can and should be described in business language.
It’s a sign of complete and utter weakness, which is regrettably run for the norm for this government.
Take into account that this development follows the Chinese spy balloon incident, which Vice President Kamala Harris described as “not a serious breach” and which she said had not altered the United States’ relationship with Beijing.
The shame here is not the loss of American might and reputation. This is the view that the world can be fixed, at least superficially, if everyone just acts like it’s one extensive HR department.
In light of what has transpired over the last several years, it is clear that neither Vladimir Putin nor the rest of the Kremlin gives a hoot about the grades they receive from the White House.
