The response of Elon Musk to Joe Biden’s possible 2028 presidential candidacy has gone viral.
A user named @Richard Harambe made a post on July 14 that garnered more than 3 million views, suggesting that Biden may run once more in 2028 if Trump were to win.
Musk simply posted a laughing emoji in response.
After promising to stay impartial in the 2024 general election, Musk threw his full backing behind Donald Trump last weekend. His support came when the former President was the target of an assassination plot.
At a Saturday, July 13th event in Butler, Pennsylvania, a shooter opened fire on Trump. Secret Service personnel quickly removed the Republican from the platform after a gunshot nicked his upper right ear. A Trump spokesman subsequently verified the politician’s well-being with a statement on Sunday from Trump saying that he would never surrender.
The incident resulted in the death of one rally attendant and severe injuries of two more.
Following the murder attempt, Musk posted a video of 78-year-old Trump, whose face was smeared with blood, with his clenched fist in the air.
On X, Musk expressed his full support for President Trump and his wish for Trump’s speedy recovery. In another message, he wrote that the martyr had survived, and the last time Americans had a presidential contender this fierce was Theodore Roosevelt.
On social media, Musk has openly criticized President Joe Biden. When asked about the President in April, Musk said he was the face of the extreme left’s political machine.
Musk has attacked the 81-year-old Democrat, bringing up issues of health and illegal immigration. He has also taken a stand against woke ideology in the last several years. In April 2023, Musk said that younger males were being influenced by a “woke mind virus” during an interview.
After Musk’s estranged son Vivian Jenna Wilson’s “gender change,” Musk turned vehemently against extreme-left progressive policy, according to his book, which was published last September. Musk blamed the 20-year-old’s coming out as “transgender” in 2022 for the gap between them. His mother is Canadian writer Jennifer Justine Musk.
