Crowd Goes WILD At Trump’s UFC Appearance

Donald Trump, the ex-president of the United States, has been spotted at several UFC events in recent years, including Saturday’s UFC 295 card in New York City.

The main event pitted Ji Procházka of the Czech Republic against Alex Pereira of Brazil for the Light Heavyweight championship.

After a sponsor of a recent UFC fight asked that a social media post featuring Donald Trump be taken down, Dana White, president of the UFC, said, “Go **** yourself.”

With White, Trump entered Madison Square Garden, causing a frenzy. There was a din of shouting– some favorable, some negative.

Trump’s entourage included Donald Trump Jr., Kid Rock, and Tucker Carlson. There is widespread conjecture that Carlson will be Trump’s choice for vice president in his 2024 reelection campaign.

The 45th President, a boxing and MMA lover, showed up at UFC 295 not long before the start of the pay-per-view event. While Kid Rock’s “American Badass” played in the background, Trump raised his fist and waved excitedly to the sold-out audience. He and his famous pals settled into seats in the ringside section.

Republican presidential candidate Trump skipped a speech in New Hampshire to catch the battle. Despite his legal problems and refusal to participate in primary discussions, including the most recent GOP debate on Wednesday, his advantage in the approaching 2024 election remains sizable.

The latest national polling data provided by FiveThirtyEight shows that the former Commander-in-Chief is polling at 55.6%, much ahead of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who is at 14.1%, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley at 8.7%, and Vivek Ramaswamy at 5.3%.

Trump has overtaken President Biden’s lead in six out of seven crucial battleground states.

The 77-year-old Republican said in an interview this week that if he wins the 2024 race, he will use the whole might of the FBI and Justice Department to go after his political opponents. He called the DOJ’s weaponization of the indictments against him “pathetic.”

The former president is being accused of concealing critical White House records at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida and submitting misleading information to federal agents probing the subject.

In connection with the riots on January 6, he is also facing federal accusations of plotting to invalidate the results of the 2020 election.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg brought 34 hush money charges against Trump in connection with alleged payments used to quiet people including porn actress Stormy Daniels during the 2016 election season.
